Hi all,
More often than not I have faced a sicilian , while playing with white myself ( starting with Kings Pawn Opening )and i found out of my own experience of playing till date that the Smith Morra gambit is one of the most effective way to counter the Sicilian( just my guess) when Black initiates it. However i am new to this opening and would like some real good advice as to how we can get Smith Morra Gambit to work really hard against black when the sicilian is initiated. Is this a very good technique to counter the sicilian? what are the variations? Any advice is welcome.
Regards,
SB.
