    In the End game, if your opponent's only move available puts them in checkmate is that a slate mate? Example (pawn can move but puts King in Check mate.

    Yes.

    the better way to describe this is to say if your opponent has no legal moves and isn't in check then the game is a stalemate.

    The best part about it is, you dont even have to know it. The site will automatically award a draw.
    Though I dont think I have ever had a stalemate - if anybody has the time to trawl through my results and prove me wrong I will be interested.
