honestly, not real often... In blitz i suppose it would be easier to do it. However, thats a basic rule of promotion, make sure their isn't a stalemate 😞

probable blitz variation would have been :

Don't feel too bad about it, most of us have done it at one time or another. Some of us don't like to admit we have done it 😛

This happens pretty often in blitz. I've managed to pull a stalemate off once where I had a queen and king and opponent only a king with about 10 seconds left on the clock. 🙁

On the other hand I managed to get stalemated when my opponent was up a queen, rook, bishop, knight and 4 pawns once.
