This happens pretty often in blitz. I've managed to pull a stalemate off once where I had a queen and king and opponent only a king with about 10 seconds left on the clock. 🙁
On the other hand I managed to get stalemated when my opponent was up a queen, rook, bishop, knight and 4 pawns once.
