Hi, i'started to play FICGS, an online chess server where games interval are of 30 or 40 day, plus on day per move.

They play poker too.


The down side, is that, cmputer assistance is allowed, until chess is resolved, which will take longtime.

Is it worth it to play, there, since they allow engines users.

it is allowed, so, they can do it, but not everybody do it.

I will use one to assit me too. but I won't rely on it,

I wonder how much high I will be rated, if I start with my normal rating, since I went from 1600 to 1500 OTB

yeah, to me thats a HUGE difference. this site is usually grades close to OTB, so thats interesting

No, that's not what I meant, I thought in some other thread he posted games from an OTB tourney where he beat some 1800s to become first with a score like 4.5/5

you did not read corectly, I nmever post the rating of my opponents, but most where in the 1500 and that make me grind, but OTB, I do the most stupid mistake of all times. Suddenly forget my opponent plan. leave piece hanging cause, I am bored.


And my opponent do here.


I directly start at 1800 there.....

p1800 seems a reasonable level for an engine 😕

engine user are normally rated over 1600, if they just consultthem to get the moves, as other users, have betters idea and can correct their engines.
