    🙂

There is book on Amazon about a GM who is giving
a simultaneous display against twenty two players.

He is white and beats them all with the same trap.

"The Twelve Chairs" is a satirical novel about a former nobleman and a con-man chasing a treasure hidden in a chair all around the Soviet Union in the year 1927. One day they find themselves in a small provincial town, desperate for some money to continue their treasure-hunt. So one of them (Ostap Bender) pretends to be a Grandmaster - local chess amateurs cannot believe their luck...
The translation here is by someone not too familiar with chess (eg. Spanish Game is translated as Spanish Gambit, etc.), but otherwise it's OK:

The Real Life of Sebastian Knight by Nabokov.

for TV chess, I recommend Knight Rider.
