Studies: Chess and children

Hello,

I would like to know if there are any studies, about the effect of playing chess on the schoolresults and behavior of children (age 7-12).

Go to www.chesskids.com click the resources tab and choose links...scroll down a bit and there are some that should be of interest...the site is a good resource in general for this age group.
