Ppl sometimes share their interesting games, wery good or wery bad 😀 with others. I open the thread to boast myself 😉 and I also hope that somebody other will be stimulated to send interesting cases of successful attacks! I prepare also an another thread, "successful defences".
Here is a game just finished: Game 964411. The black play an unusual opening, 1.... c5 and 2... e5. I started an attack at the king side with 13. g4. After 19 moves, I concluded that I have no chance to win with 20. Nxf6 or another quiet moves, and that, if my attack is unsuccessful, I can have problem in the endgame. I decided to sacrifice a quality. (Is it a good phrase in english, "sacrifice a quality"? It means to change your rook for a knight or a bishop.) After that, in 29th move, I was forced to sacrifice another quality! My bishop and knight made an exelent job in attack, and after 34th move it was clear that I win! Black has a beter defence, but maybe white still need to win.
