This game was in an ICCF open. Opponent was 2029. I was black and this position came up:

White played 18. cxb5 and offered a draw. Would you take it or play on? Is there any danger in playing on? Considering your opponents rating and the black pieces as well. Game is finished so not in progress. If you're wondering the game started f4 b6.

    I would say black has a slight adavtage - after cxb5 axb5 Nc2 [bxc5? b4] c4

the reason being that black has moved the wing pawn closer to the centre (some people claim that a and h pawns are worth 0.5, not 1.0) and also, a half open file.

given the ratings however, the draw was probably wise, a doubt this advantage would be strong enough to confer a win.

Your opponent had the runs and had to visit the toilet. This game is far from a draw.

All the pawns were on the board with only one piece exchanged , how do you see a draw? The game had just started.
