Originally posted by cmsMaster Well I seem to have the strangest rating pattern out of all of you guys, I hit 1600 after a lot of time and effort...and skipped right through to 1725, then I crashed back down to 1600 and lost a lot of games to timeouts after that. I'm finally getting close to that 1600 mark again (I think I'm around 1530 now) and I'm hoping that I can get 1700 pretty quickly.
Mine might rival yours in terms of strangeness..but thats what happens when your long breaks correlate with your largest improvement....and also when you first become a sub and take on all those tourneys and then get fed up with them and time out for a while and then get fed up with all those games in your inbox and just resign all your tourny games and end up under 1400 again...a place I haven't been in a while.

after our previous differences of opinion on this forum, i thought you'd leap at the chance to silence me. Suppose i'm not of high enough value, or i just haven't been disagreeing or arguing with you long enough. 🙂

Ha, in the past I've had plenty of (much more intense) disagreements than we've had tonight. Most of these having absolutely nothing to do with chess, I'm just real good and turning down challengers - I've got enough to keep me busy for now.
If you want tips on how to get a game against me, see if you can dig up the old thread between myself and RahimK (If you look through his public forum posts you'll probably find it quickly - it has over 1000 posts).
A good run of form has seen me hit highs of 1575 like i am at the moment! which is my best ever rating its just very difficult to improve on that and push myself over the 1600 line!
