Nakamura again showed great endgame skills in beating Topalov (for the first time). Yesterday he drew a queen vs queen and pawn ending against Caruana showing great technique. Very instructional.

Actually Dominguez Perez missed a win against Nakamura. I believe Nakamura and Caruana play in the final round.

Kamsky beat Nakamura today, while Caruana could only draw,so Kamsky is clear first with 3 rounds to go. Dominguez beat Ponomariov, while poor Ivanchuk lost again

Yeah, I meant Dominguez. And Naka's nice endgame technique began on move 60.

Kamsky drew, and Dominguez won(beating Caruana!)so he and Gata are tied for 1st with 2 games to play. The pundits are probably scratching their heads wondering who this Cuban kid is!

Rd.10-Kamsky won,Dominguez drew,so Gata is half a point in front going into the last round. Last round-Caruana has W vs. Kamsky,Dominguez has W vs. Topalov.

last round-Dominguez beat Topalov to take clear first with 8-3. Caruana beat Kamsky, tying him for 2nd-3rd with 7.5-3.5 This will shake up the order at the top of the ratings list,as Dominguez was the next to lowest rated in this event, but his great play showed he belongs with the big boys!
