so what would you rather have in an end game, the queen and your opponent has two rooks or vice-versa?

i was in a situation where i could have taken the two rooks for my queen but felt the queen was stronger

You would need to assess the resulting endgame vis-a-viz the pawns/pieces present. A diagram would be handier than making a generalised comment.

oh cmon...

would you rather to be in a situation where you have a knight vs. a bishop? four pawns vs. a rook? Two rooks + two knights vs. a queen + two bishops?

generally two rooks are stronger thou 😛
