That's a good thing. The thought of combining the Hippo, Claw, TV, and Frankenstein-Dracula into one opening was too horrible to comtemplate. With the opening move 1)Qxa8, this new discovery would have ended chess as we know it. This thread will self-destruct in 5 seconds......cue MI theme music.....

1 Qxa8 is certainly a devastating opening move. I can't believe I didn't see it before.

whats the nadjorf? sounds like a horrible nut hook from the late 16th century made to tear into....

good point, but a rule i go by..

if you cant pronounce it, who cares about spelling 😉
and its all about #1, other 2 could be fools mate and the "im good at chess i only need 4 moves if im white" attack for all i care 😛

GP has quite a lecture on his chandler cornered site against using the nadjorf against "strong players" unless you are GM type caliber. Look out for a lecture! 😛
