This claim to fame seems to be contested between:

xs on the orange 1/0 board
and
meman on the red 1/14 board,
and
cludi on the purple 3/0 board.

-all have successfully defended their turf 13 times.

The all time longest siege defense must be:

seanpbutler on the blue 1/0 board ... 49 straight wins !!!

naturally ended by timeout.

Cause he's still confused over what flag to stab in the middle of it. 😉

My reign is over...timed out after 18 defenses.
(cable went down for 24 hrs- missed moving by 20 minutes.)

I could never sleep with myself if I had been the one to claim the win.

It's not like he wasn't warned.

Yes, this one has been beaten to death. Both players understand the time schedule and know if they don't move they lose. I'm not saying that isn't true and i'm sure xs understands perfectly.

I was just saying that I sometimes feel guilty taking a game by time if it's an even position. I couldn't take someone's long seige reign. I once did have a skull on a seige game, but waited it out. I would have lost to the next challenger anyway though so it didn't really matter much.

I don't fault jerQ for the timeout... after all, it was the only way he was going to win. 😉

Although I don't like losing the board, I will not miss the pressure that grows with each defense.

P.S. September what?

Yeh, well when you've held one for a year and a half and some patzer times you out while you're on holiday you'll think differently about it!
