lichess.org is now probably the best site i have come across, there is now a tactics trainer. Its simple to use and has that beautiful open source feel about it, by that i mean its free.

I have come across numerous postings from ketchuplover on another website and have never found him to be a troll in any respect. I don't see what the problem is.

There isn't one anymore ... the person making the accusation was basically shamed off the forums.

Have you tried the analyse game option on lichess?
Pretty nice for free! and you can send a link around to it, which is nice

I suggested it as a site idea for here for subscribers (post-game analysis with visual display)

yes, you can do the same on FICS as well, although its not as automated as lichess.org. On chess.com (spit ding) you need to be a premium member. I dont always agree with the computer analysis because well i am a human and dont think like a computer but its a nice feature because it allows you to see alternative moves that you would not have thought of 😀

On another site my opponent has advanced to the queening square but has not promoted his pawn. Unfortunately this has stopped his clock and started mine. I've asked my opponent to promote his pawn and asked the admin there to do that too and to fix the promotion bug asap. There are less than 3 days left on my clock.
