So I was scanning about about looking for names to put into
the 'I want to see: Players v Players' thread.

And I usually give a quick glance at the games played to
see if I can spot an interesting game.

Found this. There are so many mistakes that if it were ever to
annotated in a book then the '?' key would wear itself out.
It's terribel, brilliant, shocking and amazing.
I vote these two play each other all the time.

LOL; it's not often you lose when you have 2 queens, 2 rooks and 2 bishops on the board.

I know that's not when the game ended, but that's when the forced mate sequence began.

DUDE.

Though it kind of weirdly looks like a grandmaster game too -- so often GM games have these completely incomprehensible moves, annotated with a wild line, and they're right, but can mortals understand the threat that lead them to hang their knight? No.

I know. One minute I was looking at a forced winning, then
next it was losing - then winning. Incredible game I stumbled upon.
(bet there are 1000's of games like tucked away in other player's folders).

It seems appropriate that the players names are WahaAkiaki & Buggeye for some reason.

I think the players' names are the sanest thing about this game.

It would be quite amusing putting that game through an engine - apart from the final combination I bet it would disagree with every move played from move 3 onwards.

Fritz depth 10 agrees with all of:
10... Nxc2+
11. Kd1 Nxa1
12. Qxe5

So among the madness, there are flickers of main line theory 🙂

Mere coincidence, I'm sure. 😀
