The French Exchange variation. Nothing too unusual about that. If you play e6 as black then you'll get it often enough. Apart from that you should wait until the games are finished before posting them as commenting on games in progress is not allowed.

Well,he didn't ask for comments.I'm wondering what the aim of the post is???

I figured the only possible reason for this post was to look for comments. I mean what other reason could it possibly have? Hence my comment.
To make this thread worthwhile anyone had any luck with the QGD😲rthodox Rubinstein variation. The way I play it I tend to lose a lot:
1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 Be7 5. e3 0-0 6. Nf3 Nbd7 7. Qc2
The plan is to play Bd3 after trading the c pawn and storm the black king with moves like 0-0-0, h4 and g4. However I normally end up with my pawns blockaded on that side and the pin on the c file often does me in. Any tips?

maybe its not a good idee too start a kingside pawnstorm in a possition like that where black has absolutly no weakensses there like g6 or h6 also you are aiming to opening files on your opponents king while if you castle long you will give him the opeing c file on your king for free!
i think you shoud work on your strategy🙂 How to reasess your chess by jeremy silman is a good book for that.

Actually, these games are still in progress. Therefore we should not really comment on them just yet.

I know the strategy itself is valid. I've looked over games where white totally demolishes blacks structure with rooks behind the g and h pawns and the doubled diagonal but I just can't get it work for me. Maybe I'm just not cut out to play such a sharp line. I'd love to be one of those players who can destroy someone tactically in the early midgame but instead I plod along gain a small advantage and barring a huge mistake by the opponent I progress into a won endgame. That's of course if I don't make a mistake first or a larger mistake second.
