Did you ask your opponent what he thought and for some advice?

That's one of the best part of chess especially in OTB play. It's amazing what others see.

Do you always take with the queen on d4?Not saying it's bad,just haven't seen that before.
I'm also wondering why you resigned 😕

It is a system that is part of my repertoire, and is known as the Chekhover Variation. I play it whenever he someone lets me. I resigned because it is hard for me to go from having a slight advantage to having a cramped position where he has a slight advantage.
