I just came online, and looked at my games, and two games I have won because of time out.
The games were resignable from both opponants.
This is not how we should play.
If I lose,I don't abandon the game.I resign.
Why is resigning the hardest move?

I have only played a few games, and am luck enough to not have that done to me, as I would never do to someone else. Lets just hope they forgot.

While I haven't had people let games go completely, quite a few times my opponent has started making moves once every 6 or more days as soon as i have got in a winning position 😠. I'm not sure if people are hoping for my computer to bugger up, or maybe for me to get hit by a bus, but it gets very irritating when i can see my opponents making moves in their other games and leaving me to stew.

I know what you are saying. It doesn't usually happen to me, but it must be frustrating.

But in some cases could it not be that, once someone gets themselves in a bad position, they feel they have to slow down and think about their moves. I have some games that I only move once every few days because I'm stuggling and have to find time to think, whereas other games I'll move several times a day.

What you say is valid, but is it not straying from the point?
There is a difference between thinking in a position that you have not given up on and letting a game go on time that is hopeless.

yeah i understand that, i do the same myself. i'm more talking about games with forced moves, mating combinations, or a position where a huge material advantage is coming my way. It doesn't happen all that often, but enough to be relevant.

ive had people who wont accept a draw when all that is left r the 2 kings hoping that i will 4get about the game so they can claim on timeout

If all that's left is the two Kings, doesn't RHP automatically spot the stalemate and end the game? If not, it should IMHO.

I guess people think that if they just abandon, they do not lose the game.

You can't have a game with only the two Kings. It's auto draw.

Though I'm happy to make you think!
