When that bar in game details is all red, can I claim the game? The game is unimportant to me but it`s 6 days since my opponent made a move. That`s even slower than correspondence chess!

Set up your games with a one day timeout and 0 time bank for a quicker game, This confused me at first too. the time bank is a grace period up to 21 days so every time a move is made past the timeout period time is subtracted. If that banked time is used up and your opponent has exceeded the timeout period then you can claim a win.

Yes, it's a real pain to have to wait forever for someone to move. I've got a game (where I didn't check the timeouts) where I have to wait 2 weeks for my opponent to move! Frustrating! So from now on, I set all the timeout periods to 1-7 days so they will play more at my pace. If not, then I time them out. ..and choose the games from the Open Invites that suit you!

Excellent advice. Thank you!
