I know I am known for defending the black side, but I thought you guys might like to see me gettin nuts on the White side, against the old but frequently played 9..Nxd4. I used to play this and I knew everything up through about move 16 or 17. One of my best combinations though. 😀

kudos. What would you have done after 14...Rxc3?

I would probably have to go into the mess that occurs after hxf7+ Bxf7 (Kxf7! might be even better because the bishop can still support ..Rc8, but I would have to look at it longer) Qxc3 Qxa2+ Kc1. White saving grace here is that Bh6+ is impossible.

Your opponent lose tempi with Nxd4 , Qc7 and Qa5

Nxd4 doesn't really lose any tempi, and Qc7 is forced if he wants to get his Queen to a5 eventually because the immediate ..Qc7 (instead of ..Qa5) is bad on account of Nd5!

I'm used to the "main" dragon with Bc4. Is the one you played the accelerated dragon or the Yugoslav? Black played into white's hands too easily in that variation.

This is the Yugoslav Attack with 9. 0-0-0 instead of your choice, 9. Bc4. Just to let you know, a couple years ago black's choice was all the rage, all the way up to the highest eschelons of GM's.
