Could this be the earliest RHP clanger ? At the time this would have been a top of the table clash... black was cruising.. them on #38 loses his queen and it's rook versus 4 pawns.. could white have drawn from there ? White missed mate on #39 too.. he never recovered and left the site a few months later.
