Hey People,
I play the trompowsky quite a lot as white as a good weapon against the Kings Indian....1D4...NF6 2BG5......this opening is full of play for white with chances for gambits such as the vaganian I find not many players especially strong players of the black pieces give it the respect it deserves it is a potent weapon and I have found it ideal against the kings indian players who usually dont have a clue what to do even against players who r familiar with it it is a minefield if they are not careful I prefer also because it is flexible..also good against the dutch 1d4...f5 2bg5....h6 3bh4...g5(trying to trap the bishop) 4bg3...f4 5e3...if he takes the bishop qh5 mate if he chooses not to u win a pawn and his kingside is ruined try this u will be suprised how many players fall into it...even if the player knows it it still creates weaknesses on his kingside ...note u should familiarise yourself with the tromp.....π..regards paulsmove
