Game 5560465

The whole game was a trap for the Black; at his youth Kasparov was answering h3 with Ka6, but I wanted to forward my Horsey to the centre. And then I felt like a salmon playing with a Kodiak

i am sorry this has nothing to do with anything in this thread. i just thought i would save forum space by asking:

Hi my friend;

Your decision was right at the final position, however a bit earlier the Black was better and he should win after a breakthrough (this occurs when one or more pawns are sacrificed in order to create a criminal and promote it).
So after 39. ...h5 40.gxh5 Rc4+ the black Rook takes down the doubled white pawns and the Black wins.

On a tough spot I tried 26. ... Re8 and 27. ... Bf4. It paid off. 😵

Not sure you set a trap here. Although your opponents play did rhyme with trap I grant you.
