thats a cool applet, but they could have made it a bit harder to beat!

Apparently this is the level of the average chess player. Looks pretty though.

its fun to play....but it had no idea on the bird opening...all over the place.

It doesn't have an opening book. Thanks to that and a limited search depth it will favour certain openings which look odd from an established theory standpoint but work for what it is analysing.

For example if I set Fritz to play itself on my computer with opening books turned off and leave it for two hours it plays a certain Petroff line everytime. It's worse than watching paint dry.

Hahaha I never even had time to play a game against it.
I just posted it in here because it looked cool.
It might be fun to try on a late saturday night while in a Hyper-sensitive state.

So... it's pretty easy to beat eh? Sounds like I might have fun with it then.
