Here is a game that I particularly enjoyed. Sort of instructive as to how to play slow positional chess and tying up your opponents movement and freedom.
Just one bad part about this game, and that was I left my pawn unprotected, but he also failed to see the chance to win my pawn.
Comments and criticisms welcome.....Game 529735

I think your opponent violated the "attack where your pawns are pointing" maxim. He tried to ram an attack down the closed queenside, when, really, he had much better chances of making a break kingside.

At move 16/17 your opponent's queen's rook was in the same sort of spider hole that they captured Saddam Hussein in. 😛
basically after move 20, i got to work to bind down his queenside by attacking the backward pawn, tripling my pieces, and shutting down the a file with my knight, which also attacks his backward pawn.
as all his pieces had to defend the pawn, none of his pieces can move. His queen is trapped on the queenside and she cannot get out. its funny to see that he can only sit and wait and shuffle his king. as his pieces are unable to move or defend, i make a break on the kingside.
