Yeah - and he ruled the chess world. Not that it really bothers me if you insult Fischer, dude's crazy, it's a fact. He was amazing at chess though.

Fischer is certainly my favorite chess player of all time (his games are great study material) but I would say he IS an antisemitic jackass

Really? He's always seemed like a gentlemen.

Anybody see the Outside the Lines Report on him a while back? He really ticked off the reporter, refusing to apologize for calling his dad a "Jewish snake". Wasn't Fischer's dad Jewish though? Basic psychology would demonstrate that if his father was, and Fischer didn't have a good relationship with him that his anti-semitic comments were likely.
