Is there any difference between SHREDDER 10 and SHREDDER 10 UCI chess programs? Really, I don't use computer assistance, but just curious to know...so if there's anyone familiar with SHREDDER engine, give me a hint...

Not that I know of, I think they just call it that to specify the command type (UCI, Winboard).

Unless of course shredder runs different command parameters, but I have always known shredder to be strictly a UCI engine.

Shredder UCI is designed to run in any program that supports UCI, such as Arena for example. The normal Shredder package comes with the latest Fritz interface (which does support UCI--something Chessmaster fails to do).
