If a opponent is rated 300-400 points lower then me.

I tend to get a bit arrogant 😏 and tend to uderestimate him/her.

A good example is this game Game 2955016 . 😳

Full credit to Plasma Torch.

But, my question,.... does anyone else have this problem. Or is it just meπŸ™„

An f7 hack by move 3 is a rather patronising (not to say compromising to your own position) way to play anyone.
I'd never treat anyone like that - even if they were rated far lower than me. Just play your normal game would be my advice.

He was black.

Half the games I play as black seem to involve f7 hacks.

Which are ended quickly by e6.

That would indeed win the game for white.

Apologies to the OP
😳

An f7 hack is no way to start your chess career against a higher rated player!

It sometimes happens with me and when I`m starting to play too careless.

I dropped material in both these games to a 500 points lower rated player, but managed to wrestle wins out of them. pure luck.
