Unusual Opening

I don't want to belittle my opponent, so I've blanked out the name. But I played this on blitz just now and I have absolutely no clue how to respond. Can anyone offer advice?

For those of you who can't be bothered to go through, it is
1. e4 e5
2. Nf3 d5

I've never played this and wish to improve on such a great site.
