Oh my.

I wouldn't exactly put that one on the top of your chess resume. I mean you made nice moves and all, but your opponent blundered on every move starting with the fourth; and I don't mean "Garry Kasparov would put a question mark after it" blundered. I mean BLUNDERED.

Your opponent played horribly.

Would you off another discovered check so that your opponent could take your queen? (although you chose a pawn and a rook)

That's what I thought. I wouldn't have made the moves he made. I've tried to do something similar in other games and I've ended up losing badly. Also, bear in mind that we're not very good players

When looking at another persons board at the club usually the higher the player is rated the easier it is to tell what opening they played in certain positions. However in opponents less than 1400 it tends to be hard because of the complete play is not even close to book. With that being said it is not impossible for a 1300 player to play a good game. Playing people who don't blunder often will help you improve. What was the point in posting this game? Would you really want to play through that game? your a queen up and you should win in that position every time!

Your opponent made some bad moves but you also had a very strong attack going on.

For a 1300 player you played above that level, in my opinion. I'm impressed. Nice job 🙂
You keep playing games like that you will be 1400-1500 in no time.

I posted it because I was bored (nobody was moving) and just wondered if it was me having a good day or my opponent having a bad day.

Who were these players who were apparently good enough to have their games recorded for 74 years down the road but bad enough to lose when up a queen? 😛

I used to be about 1450 (briefly). I need to analyze my games a bit more like I used to.
