Anyone feel free to post any others -- this is a resource I'd love to find more of. Chess.FM is the only solid one, and they took 85% of their freebies off the site a few months ago. I really miss those Varuzhan Akobian ones, as he went through his every thought.

It's really strange that GM's want money to annotate games, isn't it?

Try the various sections of Jeremy Silmans site - www.jeremysilman.com - or have a look through the archives of www.chesscafe.com. Also The Week in Chess has games annotated briefly by Malcolm Pein - www.chess.co.uk/twic/twic.html.

Also, the Telegraph chess site is pretty good - weekly annotations from Norwood and Short.

I don't see why. It is very difficult for even GMs to make a living out of chess.
Besides, isn't it normal for profit-making enterprises to pay for expert advice?
