I was playing a game against Chessmaster and discovered this opening

1. e3 d5
2. c4

What do you think? I was thinking about using it for an upcoming tournament; it might catch a couple of people off guard and it doesn't seem to require much studying. Anyone have and thoughts or suggestions they'd like to share?

EDIT: It's called the Van't Krujis Opening

1.e3 is the Vant Kruys, but it does seem to be an English transpositional device with 2.c4.

a 2-move opening won't catch too many people off guard.

Especially if it's only good to go into the English opening anyway!

I suppose 1.e3...e5 2.d4 could be interesting & go into a kind of weird flipped French defence advanced with white a move in hand.
