I think nothing prevents ratings from becoming negative.

You should test this while you have the chance.A negative rating will probably be a first.

Go for it. I'm betting a negative number hitting the system will crash the entire net.

Well, I have bad news for you. I'm pretty sure your rating can never be more than 400 points below the weakest opponent you have played, so at the moment it's not possible to hit 0 or go below it.

Go to "Player Tables" in the navigation bar above and then go to the last page (ranked high to low). Lowest rating is 573.
