I've been in the USCF for two years, and I'm just wondering whether my rolling 12 month improvement is better, equal to, or worse than average.
My first supplement was June 05, and my rating was 1147 (P20)
My June 06 supplement was 1083, a drop of 64 points
My June 07 supplement will be 1483, an increase of 400 points.
Am I improving faster than average at this stage, or average, or slower? I'd just like an accurate yardstick to measure my progress.

Well done.
when u are under 1400 level, about 150-200 points rating gain per year is good and should be achieved with hard work. when u are over 1600 it slows down, and over 100 points per year can be considered very good. over 2000 level about 100 points per year is an excellent gain.
juniors are of course another matter.
