Joined 22 Dec '05 Moves 13780 OTB I was Rated 1694 and beat a master who was then rated 2198, a 494 point difference. I also drew a master rated 2254 when I was rated 1700, a 554 point difference. Oddly enough as my rating has risen I still have yet to beat or draw another master....
Joined 12 Nov '08 Moves 2235 Ok, I did not win, but I did manage do draw playing blitz against a player that was 620 points ahead of me (my opponent was 2014 and I 1394). I played whites:
Any other examples of big differences in ratings, with lower rated player winning?
Joined 12 Nov '08 Moves 2235 No more examples of a win against a much better rated player? Here is another one from Blitz. I played whites:

Joined 16 Apr '07 Moves 35523 I don't play blitz very well, and routinely lose to lower ranked players. I also tend to play blitz for a chess fix when I know I shouldn't move in a CC game (tired, or ahem er tipsy)
