is that an english or a sicilian variation? It's in between, can come from both the 1. e4 or 1. c4

is that an english or a sicilian variation? Technically it is a Sicilian move order (1.e4 c5), though it can transpose to an english position with the right follow-up moves.

is that an english or a sicilian variation? Sicilian, the English Symmetrical variation 😉 can be both English and Sicilian, probably. Weakens d4 too much for me though...
