    It's in between, can come from both the 1. e4 or 1. c4

    I don't know any openings or what moves follow them.Names , defences , attacks...i don't have a clue..Will i ever be able to reach 1700?

    I feel that it is quite possible to reach 1700 by just following basic opening principles and not falling for traps.

    Technically it is a Sicilian move order (1.e4 c5), though it can transpose to an english position with the right follow-up moves.

    Sicilian, the English Symmetrical variation 😉 can be both English and Sicilian, probably. Weakens d4 too much for me though...
