I'm telling Russ. This guy cheated, but that's not what I'm on about. He's too stupid to live.
who are you talking to?

If you mean to say that thug and dfitch are the same person or the game was arranged, this seems unikely if you look at the other games of thug. He/she has used the same "technique" against other players. It's a typical mistake of beginners to believe that the king is protected by the pieces around it. Most people learn from experience, though...

The same technique of moving your knights out and back into the original position until your opponent can get a mate? Seems fishy to me. And its a clan game, which is odd.

It is very poor play but it isn't fishy if you look at the opponents that thug has played against. Some of them well known players on RHP. He/she, of course, lost terribly against most of them.

EDIT: Just noticed it is a clan game which makes it even less likely to be cheating. What appears like very poor play to us might not be to some beginners. Thug just needs to learn some very basic opening strategy.

It took a bit, but I did some extensive research and found that it was last played in England in 1852 - it was called the Beefeater Opening and you can see it in the game Gin vs Tonic that was played at the Bell, Book, and Candle Pub in Fool Lane. Gin won the day!
