Could someone tell me what happens if you get a pawn to the last line. I just want to make sure, the moment it gats thare can it turn into a queen or rook or something... I mean straight away like?

Yes, when a pawn reaches the 8th rank it is promoted on the spot to your choice of knight, bishop, rook or queen. Almost always a queen of course, but there are special circumstances when promoting to a something else makes sense.

is there no limit to how many queens I can have? I thought I was allowed only two queens (of course I wouldn't need more than that but just for argument's sake 😉)

There is only a practical limit: 8 pawns on the board, so theoretical maximum of promoted pawns is 8 - in addition you have your "original" queen. In other words you can't have more than 9 queens. I think that should suffice 😲😵
