    Now I remember why I gave up 1. ... g6. It's attacks like that that ruin a chap's day.

I think you know the Yogoslav and Dragon very well. Bad idea for Rob to transpose into your strengths. 🙂 But then Rob is courageous as a player, so I respect that.
Nice game by both players, this was enjoyable chess.

This wasn't against Robbie but he mentioned that this is his new opening as black.

Hahaha he was butthurt afterwards as well trying to tell everyone I am a cheater because I finally won a tournament. He was the one who actually breaks theory and I suspected him of using an inferior engine when he played ...0-0 and ...Nc5 which seemed to walk right into me and lose time. Everybody and his dog knows that you need to go go go as black in the sicilian and he should have played b5. Then he didn't play 12 ...h5 and I knew that he just had no clue about the position.

find some counter play qa5 and your bishop attacking a2 but his knight hovering around that diagonal when you attack the a2 square just some more research and understanding will keep ya kingside defence solid

saying that ..... nxg4.......fxg4 bxd4 ....either bxd4 or rxd4 then play bishop to e6 ready for attack on a2 just an idea maybe a big disaster but under the circumstances what have you got to lose? 🙂
