Looking at the log jam on the Kingside the there must have been something like this. Black to move.
[fen]8/8/8/6pr/7k/8/6P1/5B2 w - - 0 1[/fen]
playing 1...g4 2....Rg5 3.g3+ Kh5
No more moves can be played there so we have to get the f1 Bishop to d1 from here.

1. Bg2 a6 2. Bd5 a5 3. Bb3 a4 4. Bd1 a3 5. Kc2 { It is Black's move.} [/pgn]
(but now you can't claim you don't know how to solve retros 😛)
@greenpawn34 saidThat's right. WPf7 and WPg6 made 3 captures each [they are from c2 and d2]. This accounts for all of the missing Black units, thus WPh7 did not capture anything. The Black pawns must have cross-captured to let Ph7 through.I'm getting better.

I figured out the h6 pawn must have come from g7 and the g5 pawn was at one time the h7 pawn. (I think).
