I put my opponent in spellcheck during a critical game in a tournament for Harry Potter fans when I was losing. It caused his king to fly around the board knocking all his pieces over and then it smacked him right in the face. The guy was so shocked he forfeited the game and I took first place.

I think you mean a mate in five - while the originall poster means a scholar's mate, or something to that effect.

And no, that will NEVER happen in any decent tournament

Seems that scholar's mate takes place at least once in every youth tournament I attend (I run several per year, and go to several others--the life of a coach).
