Take a look at this game... do I have that much of an advantage to warrant a resignation?Game 1096808
Originally posted by BofaschwaWell, not sure if I would've resigned so quickly but you definitely would've gotten a nice advantage. His queen can't go on the D file because of the rook behind the knight and you can get a nice trade for his queen. He can't move his queen to b8 because of the c7 pawn push which exposes the bishop to the rook and will lead to a bunch of different options for you to chose from. He also can't move to a7 due to Bxb6 and he has to move his queen again and you can pick off the rook and then the knight. So yes, it would've been very hard for your opponent to win that one.

Maybe he stopped playing for awhile and got timed out, or had to leave the site for awhile and resigned his games. In any case, you are quickly making a name for yourself as one of the most ignorant posters in this forum. Why don't you move out to the Debates forum; I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends out there.
I'd like to know (with his rating) how he could possibly have beated a 1600 player. LOL! I think he's been using FRITZ too much.
Originally posted by BofaschwaJosh is right, your opponent has real problems, the advanced passed pawn is going to cause more and more trouble. Well played.
