I seem to have a problem with posting a new game, having someone accept the challenge, only to have them delete the game either before making a move or immediately after making the first move. While I might understand if they waited until after I had moved to do so after deciding they didn't like the openings I play, I can't understand it happeing before any moves are made. This happens in about 20% of the games I post. It is getting to the point of being annoying.

It's so pointless, why would people bother?
This is beyond me..... 😕🙄

Maybe cause you're provisional and your opponents are afraid of the unknown. You may be master strength for all they know and don't want to risk the rating points.
Some happened while I was provisional, but it has continied after I wasn't. Even when I was, the people who did it were also provisional. And it has been different people each time.
One thing it might be is that none of the people were subscribers, and since they were limited in the nymber of games they can play at once, it could be they dropped my games to play someone else. In any event, it is still rude and annoying.

If you were to subscribe you'd probably not have this problem. Apart from the fact that you could enter tournaments and play clan games, you'd also find other 'pawn stars' will treat you with a little more respect, as we all generally get along.
Apart from that it may be your not moving fast enouph. Assuming you get the chance, you should make three moves so the delete link disappears.
