The games are chosen at random. I have never seen one of my games on there, but I have seen past opponent's games. If you keep clicking "refresh" long enough, you will see one of your games eventually, I would think.
Since there are so many moves made here per second, simply hitting refresh would probably only work if you happen to hit refresh within a micro-second or two of your opponent playing a move in one of your games. Unlikely really
e.g.
1. Open home page and take note of one of the games displayed
2. As Quickly as you can; open the Public Games page
You will see that the game from the home page is dropped down quite far in the Public games table in the time it took you to open the second page.

Why arn't my games ever on the welcome page? Are they inferior? Am I not high enough rated? Is it purely random and someday my time will come? Whatever it is, I'm feeling slightly ignored.
Anybody know how those games are chosen, or atleast feel the same way I do?

I discovered this by accident, honestly.
e.g. there were almost 150 games played at 18:57 (GMT) alone.
