Ok, it was bad, but you shouldn't have resigned. Maybe taken a break from that game and come back to it later or another day.

After Kxg2, you could play Ne3+.

Then:
dxe3 Rxd1
Rxd1 Bxe3

and you're a knight down but with four extra pawns. Would've been an interesting game from there.

Just about - I stared at the screen expecting to see "Black Wins" but then when I realised what I'd done I just paced round and round with my head in my hands saying "nnnnnnnnnnn" - couldn't quite get the "ooooooo" bit out :-)

I resigned it. There's just too much pain involved :-)

I don't like resigning games early because I always feel ...[text shortened]... right really - it was still playable, I could have won his Queen, and I should have carried on.

Look at the bright side. You're much less likely to miss (or forget) this queen-bishop mating couple in future games. Try to burn that pattern into your long-term memory!

Actually this was not even close to the worst blunder of all time. The worst blunder or all time occurred on Feb 12, 1983 when I uttered the words "I do" to my first wife. Trust me....waaaaay bigger mistake!!
