Talk about a bad day. 11 losses in a row. wow....
I lost about 9 out of 12 a few weeks ago.
It was at that time that I decided to take winning serious.
I use the analyze board feature more, I wait a day to move if it looks tricky, and I do about 10-16 tactic puzzles a night. Suddenly my game got a lot better.
Before moving sit on your hands before moving a piece. After you have thought of a move analyze. look at the board and ask yourself. Is anything threatened. If so defend it. If not, can I threaten something else. After selecting your move look to see if it is safe at the spot you are wanting to put it at.

I thought you were taking some time out.
I will say this: TACTICS, TACTICS, TACTICS
The better they are the better you are.
BTW- If you rating is below 1300 you need tactics help. Hell my rating is around 1400 (for a minute anyways) and I can only find about half of the best moves in the book I study.
