I know I'm not saying anything new here, but obviously Ironman31 is a terrific player! His record speaks for itself but I've found it interesting to read the forums where there's an Ironman31 V RHP game as well as some comments about how he has completely destroyed some players in a rather ruthless fashion!
For myself, I'd be too embarrassed to challenge him as my game rather.. umm.. sux! So, I'm hardly in any position to judge how good he is.
I would just like to know how others have gone against him and how badly you have been whipped! I'd like to know the experience you've had while playing him. Any stories welcome :-)

The opening that ironman likes a lot is the Ruy Lopez as white. He's viscious with it for sure. I wonder if there is any really good counter to his opening

my experience v ironman gave me the goal of trying to draw at first.
after a game or two i changed my goal:
MY GOAL: try to survive in a slightly alive position for 40 moves (possibly disadvantaged, but not totally abysmally dead).
i resigned every game in a hopeless position before number 40.
i have been reasonably close ... and i am ambitious; i believe i can make 40 one day soon!
