11. Qd1e2 O-O 12. g4 Bh5g6 13. Nf3e5 Bg6e4 !?

I was playing as white
Can u give the best move for white.I had to spend around 10 minutes to calculate the variations and find the best move here.It 's quite tricky

can you put it on a board, or if some kind soul is reading could they, I don't know how to

At a glance I'd play f3 and castle long... ?
Can't see anything wrong with that.

Maybe 14.g5 Bxh1 15.gxf6 gxf6 16.Ng4

White's development advantage has to be exploited as fast as possible, before black can catch up. The exchange sac g5 looks very strong to me. If Bxh1 gxf6, I don't see how black can defend against the long castling coming as well as the queen. All white's pieces are active against a shattered castle structure. And if black declines the sac with Nc6, hoping to exchange some pieces, then f3 wins a piece.

Or even better 16.O-O-O! (threatens 17.Rg1+ and 18.Qg4 with mate in 2.). Can't see a satisfactory continuation for Black.

Good point. I'd overlooked that the g-file was open after 15.gxf6 gxf6. That seems like a pretty convincing line.

presuming black plays gxf6 of course, which is dreadful for black!
