I am red, white or blue,
In fact any hue!
I come in many flavours - even 'Lager & Lime'
Most have tried me - from time to time.
Except to a friend;
Its 'Cordialment a vous' at the end.
To someone you know - 'Cher Monsier' to begin,
And this double entendre - to the Pope is a sin!

I don't know what has a 'Lager & Lime' flavor. Beer and lime sounds a bit like tequila and lime. I suspect Googling for that phrase would be helpful, but I won't do it unless you don't mind, wolf.

I don't speak French. 😕 Sounds like "Please, Sir, friendship to you"? Again, online translator would be helpful but might be frowned upon.

For the benefit of the non-Brits, Lager&Lime was a popular drink in the 80's ... so popular that the condom vending machines in pubs started dispensing Lager&Lime flavour alongside Strawberry and Banana!
