Carl and Lenny were bowling in their Tuesday night bowling leauge. They were playing head to head.
Things were looking good for Lenny when Carl started his game with a spare. After that they just kept on throwing strikes through the 9th frame.
Carl had a score of 260, while Lenny had a score of 270 going into the 10th frame.
Carl threw a turky to add onto the 8 he already threw in a row. Lenny doubled up and left the 10 pin.
The pins in their house are regulation, and weigh 3 and a half pounds each. How many pounds of pins were knocked over during the game?

When I was 15 years old, I bowled a 286.
Since then I have never been able to break 180. Explain that?
My hi score in highschool was a 176... and I thought that was great. Turned about 27 and a friend let me borrow "his ball" and I threw a 184. Hooked since.
😉

It was weird. In my school uniform, using lane shoes and a very old 16 pound ball - I didn't try hard but just let it flow.
I still have the score slip almost 20 years later!
It does make you wonder what we are all capable of and what your true potential actually is?
If it is of any concern to anyone, today I broke my old record (by a whopping four). The new PR for me is 244. What is bad about games like that is you look at the board and say, "If only I cound have closed that one frame!" or "If only I could have strung them together!". Nonetheless, I am happy with my new high. 🙂
